I have just moved up to V8f after abusing my V5f through the learning curve + 3,000 more km. The price point and 25kph top speed convinced me to start there. The product won me over. <br /> <br /> V8f offers a 25kph lock out large pedals and ride mode. Making the claim as being an ideal beginner choice legit. <br /> <br /> As an intermediate rider V8f checked off all my needs. A daily commuter in all weather . One I can take the long road home on any day that it suits. Lightweight and small enough for stairs at work and under my desk. Fast enough to get me out of trouble. Slow enough that when I go looking for trouble I have a preset limit. Thanks to adjustable speed. <br /> <br /> For ME the V8f hit the goldilocks zone. V5f becoming too small. V10 just a bit big for my size and needs. The product is as advertised.<br /> <br /> I was very impressed by the new headlight! Disappointed with the tiny rear light. Bigger foot pads and ride mode are great. <br /> <br /> I hoped for increased boost off the line but it falls short so far? I may not be leaning into it enough yet. The trade off is a smooth comfortable acceleration. <br /> <br /> 5+ out of 5 when you add Thomas's great service on top.
